I want your honest opinion.

Who really is your favourite Olympic mascot?

By the way, this photo was published in The Province newspaper on February 26th, in the Olympic section. Man, it's tough being famous.

The Winning Smile

Isn't he dreamy?

Fast dog still seeks new club...

This is winter training for one slightly obsessive middle aged dog, with his slightly neurotic owner/handler, (and a slightly inept but-I-tried-type sister), none of whom have a place to actually practise at. Unfortunately, we just don't get the same zest in our two-square-foot backyard, where the dog knows that if he accelerates, he'll hit the side of the house. It is some tough crap for a dog who lives for agility and competition. He should have rallied to make jumping off the apex of a-frames an Olympic event. Some day soon, I suppose.

When I grow up, I'm going to carry a burning stick.

Mister and Miss Coton de Tulear had the privelege to be a part of the 2010 Olympics, by cheering on the torch relay. Nothing turns heads in a crowd like a couple of appropriately dressed, snow white cotton balls. Even the girls on the Coke and RBC Party trucks pointed. Gosh, what a day! What a city!

One dog was extremely interested, and turned out to be an avid spectator. The other wasn't so thrilled, and would probably rather be at home in bed. Oh well. One day we can look back, and say "Holly, remember back in 2010, when you watched the torch relay?"
